Melie Solomon

Melie (pronounced Meh-lee-uh) was born and raised in Freeland in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Misericordia University, with a minor in Accounting. She has been working in the tax preparation field for over 20 years, with a previous focus on corporate taxes. Her company, MLS Accounting, LLC., acquired the tax and payroll portion of Black Rock Financial Services, Inc., in January 2024.
Melie has been married for over 20 years and has three sons: Dallas, a recent college graduate; Dylan, who is attending college; and the youngest, Dax, who’s attending elementary school.
On her days off, you’ll find Melie traveling with her family, reading, and attending her children’s sport events.

Alyssa came on board as a seasonal receptionist during the 2012 tax season.
A graduate of Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, Alyssa utilizes her background in copywriting and editing, as well as experience in human resources, office management, and customer service to streamline client relations, fine-tune marketing opportunities, and keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
While not at work, Alyssa can be found buying and reading way too many books or manning booths at area craft shows.
