Melie Solomon

Melie (pronounced Meh-lee-uh) was born and raised in Freeland in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Misericordia University, with a minor in Accounting. She has been working in the tax preparation field for over 20 years, with a previous focus on corporate taxes. Her company, MLS Accounting, LLC., acquired the tax and payroll portion of Black Rock Financial Services, Inc., in January 2024.
Melie has been married for over 20 years and has three sons: Dallas, a recent college graduate; Dylan, who is attending college; and the youngest, Dax, who’s attending elementary school.
On her days off, you’ll find Melie traveling with her family, reading, and attending her children’s sport events.
Alyssa Antonelli

Alyssa came on board as a seasonal receptionist during the 2012 tax season.
A graduate of Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, Alyssa utilizes her background in copywriting and editing, as well as experience in human resources, office management, and customer service to streamline client relations, fine-tune marketing opportunities, and keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
While not at work, Alyssa can be found buying and reading way too many books or manning booths at area craft shows.
Jill Scheck

Jill has a degree in Accounting from Immaculata University and joined Black Rock over 10 years ago, when her youngest was in elementary school. An expert at navigating QuickBooks software, Jill works daily on maintaining payroll and bookkeeping duties for various business clients.
Her hobbies include reading mysteries and assembling jigsaw puzzles. She is married and has three children. Macy is in college, while her twins, Penelope and Jack, graduated in Spring 2024. Her family also includes three cats, Tazzy, Louise, and Josie, as well as a Yorkie named Ozzy.
